I don't have moonlights but I do have blue LED supplement and some of my Acro's glow in the blue light. for some good encrusting corals I suggest some of the named monti's like the superman, pokerstar, rainbow, sunset, mystic sunset, etc.

If you are new to sps corals I would suggest you start off with some of the easier species such as millipora and tenuis.these IMO are easier to care for and more forgiving to the new people.also make sure you only buy true aquacultured sps.such as corals from ORA,these corals are tried and true and have been in captivity for years with proven track records for color retention and ease of care in the aquarium setting.don't be fooled by some vendor claims of their corals being " aquacultured".some good vendors to buy from are Procorals,Sonny is a great and honest guy with some awesome corals and Live aquaria(Dr fosters and Smith).BTW both of them sell ORA corals.good luck and happy reefing.BTW a wise reef keeper by the name of Greg Carrol told me some great advise a few years ago at MACNA Atlanta,"SPS/stabilty promotes success" ;)

+1^ with Troy start with a few monti's always easy to care for and for the most part very forgiving! Then graduate to acros the ones suggested are great but I'd learn stability on montis first! Less money and look great and easy to care for
