I just purchased a sweet pair of Wyoming White clowns from the super-helpful guys over at World Wide Corals, and am really looking forward to picking them up this evening. I already have two ORA Extreme Misbar Black clowns in my 36G midi, and I think they should be okay together, but I just wanted to get some opinions on the matter from those who know.
In addition, I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with these Wyoming Whites?

I thought you don't typically put more then a pair of clowns per tank.. I may not be reading your post right though.. Woll the new clowns be going in the same tank your misbars are in?

Hmmm. I thought it would be okay, as long as they were all ocellaris clowns, since they're more docile and less territorial than some if the other clowns. But I certainly could have a mess on my hands if they don't get along. Perhaps the black misbars will have to find a new home if there's a ruckus...

Ya, you might not have an issue if they all are very young. But once they find their pairs the rest will have to go.. At least thats what I was told.. :squigglemouth:

Hey James. I had NO idea you already had an existing pair of clowns in that tank. I don't recommend mixing them together. Let me know what you would like to do. See you soon.

Hmmm. Things would be so much easier if those clowns would just submit to my will. But that's not very likely, so it's looking like I'm gonna have to find a new home for the black misbars.

Good choice.. I would pick those over the misbars any day

Allright, allright. I still have yet to put them in my tank, but here is their official mug shot from the front tank at World Wide Corals, courtesy of Gadgets

Those are amazing looking clowns! Barring any emotional attachment to the other clowns I would definitely keep the new guys.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of an emotional attachment, as the extreme black misbars were the first inhabitants in my tank. However, they did get officially evicted last night and moved on down the road to a fellow reefers tank.

I added a few choice pieces of live rock (and a gorgeous blond-eyed girl chalice frag) along with the new fish, and had to rearrange the aquascape a bit. I'll post a couple if new pics once the dust settles....

i had a pair and will warn you that you cant mix them.
they also suddenly turn belly up out of nowhere so you might wanna qt them as a precaution. one of mine did that.
after it happened to me i seen alot of posts with that happening. they are beautiful though and worth the investment if you ask me

I understand the heart ache of getting rid of your first, but I have to say, I really REALLY like your new ones. I'm looking at putting a pair in my frag tank!
