Nori - How often?

Just wondering how often people are feeding nori? I recently picked up a nice size desjardani tang and have been feeding daily. It is really pushing up my phosphate levels even with the use of GFO.

I feed one sheet per day. No issues.

Every day here. I feed a small foxface and a sm-med size powder blue a piece of nori 2”x4” once daily. In my other tank, I feed a 4”x4” sheet daily but that is a large fox face and 5 tangs.

Daily especially if you have no algae. (Not all algae eating fish go after all types of algae).

Wow - and you guys have no problems with phosphate? In the 2 weeks since I started daily my phosphate has jumped from .04-.06 up to about .1. I usually change the GFO out when it would get to .08 but it is a new bag. I have been feeding about 1/3 a sheet daily.

Ehh…. My phosphate runs high but I really don’t sweat it. I used to but now I average anywhere from .2 ppm to .4 ppm.
