Odd looking hammers

I just got a three head frag of hammers for a fellow reefer. Once they began expanding I noticed some of the hammers look like the neon green has been scrapped away or worn off. Is this normal? If it is worn off, will it come back. I only paid $20 for it.

Do you have a pic? It’s normal to see a speckled pattern and they look cool. But a pic would be helpful.

It’s fully extended and looks healthy. I wouldn’t worry.

That's normal...some call it a splatter hammer.

Scribbled or splatter hammer are both common names for it.
They are typically more expensive than regular green tipped hammers. l think you got a good deal.
