I have a 36x36x24" cube that has 4 holes drilled on the eurobraced. I'm running an external overflow bean animal style with 1.5" drains. Could I run 3/4" returns using 2 of the 4 holes to return water to the tank; the remaining return water will go through my manifold which will feed my reactors. My return pump I plan on using is the Eheim 1262 which is rated for about 900gph.

Or should I use 1" returns?

only difference between the 3/4" and 1" will be the amount of pressure the watter comes out at. smaller pipe makes harder pressure

with harder pressure the output of the water will flow faster compared to the 1" right?

Perhaps

but there will be more water flow total using the larger return plumbing. Due to there being less pressure head (pressure loss) through the pipes.
