This is kind of crazy but I put a possum wrasse in my tank about a year ago. I rarely see him as he is very shy and always stays in the shadows of my tank.
I just noticed a couple of my other wr***** stopping and acting as if they were getting bugs cleaned off of them, like cleaner shrimp do to fish.
It was my possum wrasse they were all stopping for. Has anyone else ever experienced this with a possum wrasse? Cant get pictures, its too dark.

Mine (he was the rust colored one with thin white vertical stripes) was a terror after being in the tank for a few months. All of my fish are roughly the same size as he was. He would attack all the fish except the clowns, so I trapped him and off the LFS he went. One interesting thing I noticed -- when he was going into "attack mode" his entire snout would go completely white.

I've had one for nearly 3 years. He generally stays to the shadows when we are moving around, but does come out and swims all around when it is quiet and there is nothing going on around the tank. I had a Tomini Tang go rogue for a few weeks and he picked on the possum a couple of times. The possum turned nearly all gold and got his fight on. He wasn't going to put up with it. I saw this twice and then apparently they worked it out because the tang backed off.

Its very hard to get a picture of them. I can sit hear all day and only catch glimpses of him every now and then. That's why I was kind of shocked to see a couple of my fish lineing up to get cleaned.
