love the full site in the browser and while i have tapatalk, i never use it.

one thing i noticed is going from portrait to landscape and back the screen doesn't fully expand on the return to portrait. i can zoom in and everything is fine though. i'm using an iphone 6+ with latest updates. not a big deal but i'm wondering if anyone else has this issue?

I prefer the mobile version for sure but the one thing I hate is that I can't attach photos to post directly from iOS Camera Roll. Every time I've tried, I get a "unsupported file type," so not sure if there is something can be done about that ;)

Edit: here's an example when I try to upload a photo.

I was using the app because I get notifications about content but the app wasn't updating properly. I'd get notifications and nothing would be updated. Was a PITA...

Now using mobile and it's soooooooo much better although I miss the notifications

I upload photo's from my iphone all the time, I've never received that error.

I have to agree - the mobile site is fantastic. Literally 99.5% of all of my activity here is on the mobile app!

Is there a way to receive alerts other than email?
not really, that's the only "hole" IMO. I keep Tapatalk around because they have implemented "persistent" push alerts. What that means is that when you are watching a thread, you get a push alert for every single reply, whether or not you have visited the forum since the last reply. So you'll get an email for the newest one since you last viewed, but after that you don't get another email until you view the specific thread. Tapatalk serves that purpose for me, and that purpose only.

I only use TT when I have to view a thread via my phone on a forum that doesn't use Xenforo. Because, the 90s are over man. Over.
