I got this rainbow monti with amazing colors 2 week later in my tank it turned brown. Still have polyp extension and growth just went brown and ugly. What happened

Is this your only SPS? If you have others are they also affected.

Brown usually = not enough light or high nitrate/phosphate IMO

If you test for those I would list the kit used and readings you get as well as the light you have over your tank (also how many over what size tank)

I have another encrusting monti its bright green color stays strong, i got my water test last yesterday, my magnesium was low and alk was pretty high, nitrates, nitrites, phos, is all good
I have a 24g tank i just upgraded my lights to a ai prime hd (not installed yet), wave pump, my temps is at a steady 80° .
