Hey y'all, so I'm new again to the hobby. (I had a 90 gallon yrs ago) so much has changed..long story short I now have a 75 gallon with lots of rock and caves...RO water. Levels are good and hope to start adding coral soon..fishwise I currently have a coral beauty, a bicolor dottyback, a perc clown and an osc clown, a bicolor blenny and a firefish. All are doing great! And get along peacefully (firefish hides ALOT but new to tank) But reason for post is I want a red fish ( or two) would love to have a flame angel but not gonna risk with my coral beauty..thoughts on any red fishys? That are open swimmers or ones that I can have with corals.

Thanks Reefers!

Tomato clownfish!! I have 2 that seem to get along really well. They share the tank with a melanarus wrasse and all seem fine together.

But the red color is very vibrant and they are literally so stinkin' cute.

I second the Flame Hawkfish. It's red is bright and bold, a true red.

And they just happen to be one of the best fish ever. Lots of personality and they're funny. They perch in odd places and always appear out of breath.

Flame hawkfish! strong fish, will fend off the dottyback. But he is overall very peaceful. Watch out because he might perch on corals and bother them.

I also have a Flame Hawk fish. You would be crazy not to get one. If they see you at one end of the tank they will swim over and perch right down on something and watch you. They don't swim around like most fish, will swim to a location stop, perch somewhere and look around, they do this frequently. Had mine for 5 years, gets along well with others. The only thing is I hear they can eat your shrimp. I have one peppermint left out of 3 and he is always hiding so maybe.
