oh....thats nice. Did you grow that from a frag? If so what size to start and how long did it take?

Cant figure out where the red in red dragon came from though.....most pictures I see are definitely not red.....I also have a frag.

IME Red Dragon can handle a good amount of light and under the right conditions will develop purple growth tips. I wouldn't blast it with flow though.

It gets purple growth tips regadless of the lighting ime.... Start in the middle if you feel like it can handle more go for it... I found best growth and the same color about 6" off my sand bed tank is 24" tall... Up high the growth slowed and the color lightened up...

Oh sorry.....I meant to say can't figure out where the NAME red dragon came from. As in it never seems red to me.

I know where the coral came from. A local reefer here in Ontario gave a huge amount to ReefRaft (a LFS) and Reef Raft sold some to Coral in the Reef. Soon after that Steve Tyree made it an LE on his website.

Hey Darryl. I grew it from a 3/4" frag from CITR 1 year ago. Each of the branches in my shot are around 4" tall now.
