I’ve searched threads and it just makes me more confused. Can anyone tell me what I need to change the barb on the return pluming to 3/4”? The 3/4” ID hose I have to plumb my UV is way too lose and I can’t seem to stretch 5/8” ID hose over 3/4” barbs. If possible I’d just like to change that one fitting to 3/4”

For anyone else looking, I had this same issue and was able to heat the return hose in near boiling water for about 5 seconds and then successfully slipped it on to a 3/4" barb fitting... it will never come off though :)

I did the same, and you are right. It will NEVER come off. King Kong couldn't pull it off.

Or get a hairdryer on hottish setting but start of far away and only for few seconds till it starts to go malleable then connect ^_^

Anything to heat it up without Melting it will do the trick
