Reef Safe CuC...

Hey guys,

A few questions since I seem to have some GHA and green algae turf. Please post your thoughts on the following critters:

Fuzzy Chiton
Lettuce Nudibranch

I thought Nudi's were bad?

This is for a mixed reef.

I had a bad outbreak as well and the combination of Lettuce Nudi's and Continuum Bacter-CleanM did the check. Well truthfully there are a few spots that just won't stay clear, the most persistent one is close to my powerhead where the flow is too strong for the Lettuce Nudi's to get too. Otherwise those things will just sit on a clump of algae and eat until its gone. I have a 60 gallon tank and initially ordered 4 (but I didn't realize it was buy 1 get 1) so I ended up with 8, I still have one left that roams the tank doing its thing. Oh and to answer your question the Lettuce Nudi's are reef safe.

lettuce nudibranch is not a true nudibranch. I have one in my reef tank and it only eats algae.
