Thanks! I’ve been using the following “acrylic” tape with success for the past decade on inert surfaces such as glass and metal. My power transformer “bricks” of my XR15 G5 are taped to the underside of the tank too. Works well with under heat too. Another good alternative is 3M VHB. I did however put a small clear acrylic as a filler/spacer for the AFS to adhere on. BUT I wouldn’t recommend hang anything of power using adhesive tape over water though.

NEPTUNE WAV (60%) is reeking havoc on my sand bed creating a sand storm! Water spillage over the rim of the tank with WAV placed at 2” below waterline pointing 45 degrees.

DAY 3 of Tank Cycle, added another 25ml of Dr Tim’s Ammonium Chloride 6 hours ago. Not required, but I tested for Ammonia anyway, 1.5mg/L.

And I realize I will need another bottle of Ammonium Chloride... you need 2 bottles for 500L (120G) tank.

While waiting for SEACHEM MATRIX to be restocked at my LFS, got some novel filter media to fill 2 of the total 4 filter cups...sea urchin shells from HOKKAIDO, JAPAN instead, adding to my suite of bio medias.

"Due to the porous structure of the sea urchin skeleton (pore size about 10-40 μm), it has a biological filtration function with a large area of nitrifying bacteria attachment.
The alkaline sea urchin shell component elutes to prevent the pH of the breeding water from decreasing." extracted from their literature.

My COR20 is running at 50% yet achieving the 1500 LPH of the required UV flow rate for pathogen with lots of bandwidth left. Therefore, I plan to plumb the chiller TECO500 inline with the UV on the return pipe. Let’s see.

Would you mind posting a picture of your return pump and the plumbing back to your system?

Also what diameter Plumbing are you using for your return and is that a 1in flow meter that you're using on the Apex?

I apologize if you've already covered this in previous posts.

With a inline probe holder in place for ORP or Salinity probe.

Looking really good man!! I had to remove my sand due to bald spots caused by my three pumps
Talking about that, mine too. I’ve been playing with couple of WAV configurations all this while, but to no avail.

Yeah it was annoying I kept putting it back every day
WAV is really too much, at 60% it’s still creating bald patches.

DAY 8 - Ammonia 1.5mg/L. According to Dr Tim’s regime, I can add fish tomorrow, but... I doubt I would till I see a drop in ammonia.

Decided to isolate the salinity probe to the inline probe holder, since it’s recommended to avoid any electrical interference from wires. But it’s in the way of my drain gate valve, will have to rotate the valve to face down.

Aquascaping with 10 Caribsea Branches (sticks), with plenty of real estate for SPS (and sticks). Keeping a 100mm (4") gap from the glass, planing to mount SPS side ways.

Day 9 - Ammonia 1.5mg/L. Suppose to add fish according to Dr Tim’s schedule, but I chose to dose another 25mg/L instead. Not risking any fish till the Ammonia shows downward trend.
