How did everyone else attach the Varios to the Red Sea plumbing? Tubing and clamps the way to go?
That's what I did. Used flexible tubing and plastic clamps. Flex tube to keep any vibrations down and the plastic clamps to not have any possibility of rust.

Just installed mine and I'm going to have to mess around with it. The vibraiton noise is absurd. I attached it using the unions to 1 1/4" then a coupling to screw adapter with 1 inch soft pipe connecting to the Red Sea plumbing. Its quitter than the Jebao whine but now I have drone :/

You can always put a silicone mat under the pump which will quite it down some more.

I filled my tank with RO/DI water and when it did not leak I added salt. Only problem was having to add sand in tank that already had water. Would have rather added sand then water test.

Looks good. Make a build thread so we can follow.
How do

yes you should have leak tested it with hose water, take it out, then added the sand and RO/salt!

I do not use a cal reactor but i do use the Apex doser for 2 part. Works great so far.

I ended up going 2 part and now Triton Core7. Just didn't feel the need for a Cal Reactor with what I have. Down the line maybe... I didn't realize the true cost of one either. I was assuming $500-600ish but in reality they are closer to $1k. So I went with the GHL 2.1 doser. My Apex Dos is too loud for running as often as my doser does.

Yes agree, I dosed 2 part for years, but on this system want to do all sps, so I knew I would need it so got it right off that bat, kinda pricy, but when u get to the point when ur dosing so much 2 part it out weights the cost, you might never need one, play that by ear! Ur doing it right, really really like that doser you have.
