I have an aquareef 300 aquarium which requires the top trim and condensation shelf removed on empty tank to replace damaged front glass. (someone tried to sand out scratches & now hazed) I've tried finding help online but haven't found appropriate advice. As tank is empty I did try to sell it and downsize due to health issues but no one interested so contemplating just replacing glass panel.
Has anyone experience and advise on the best way to tackle this?

I would consider polishing the glass before replacing it. Id bet its also cheaper to buy a new tank than replace that glass.

Thanks Kooma,
I was considering that. Problem I have trying to polish it myself is trying to get into glass when its on its stand ( can't reach the bottom due to depth) and too heavy now for me to lift. Will speak to friend regarding taking it off the stand/ sump.
