RODI System recommendations?

Hey Everyone,

I am need of a RODI and I am not sure which one to pick. Looking for something that is priced just right that is well built. So far I have checked out KoolerMax AR-122, Spectrapure (not sure which model to settle on), and BRS Systems. Are there any other systems you would personally recommend and vouch for? The city water reports indicate an average of about 200 TDS, so I would like something that would be able to handle that and not require me to replace everything so quickly.

I like my AquaFx Barracuda with the addon of the chloramine buster. I would look at a 100 gpd Ro/Di system. Both spectra pure and BRS have great systems too.

Thanks for the recommendation! How many stages is the barracuda? Is it true more stages the better it'll perform or is it nonsense to have 6 stages?

When I first bought my system, there were 4 stages, I added a 5th and in my opinion anything more is to much. I am running sediment, 2 active carbon, RO, then Di with silica buster resin.

I got mine from www.buckeyehydro.com Russ saved me about $150 from what I thought I needed and took the time to answer all my questions before custom making my unit so that it would suit my needs.

Thanks! What do DI Bypass mean? And have you heard anything about Koolermax AR122? Seems too good to be true

I'd suggest bulkreefsupply's 4-5 stage systems. Spectrapure would be a close second. They actually have a refurbished unit available for $125 right now

I really just want to make this a one time purchase but not pay a ridiculous amount either.

Also is it safe to assume all RODI's remove silicates or must I look for it specifically in each unit's description?
