Hey i'm starting a 6ft 100g reef soon, how do you like those LED lights?

They are perfect. Not sure how wide the tank will be, but I assume 18 in? With that width, you could run them long ways and get away with three fixtures. Plus, $158 ea Black Friday deal can't be beat.

Take a look at the Reefbreeders Photon 2s as well. They look dope, but cost quite a bit more.

How much intensity you have the Ch1 and Ch2? And how much the distance the fixture are from the water surface?

Probably about 8-10 inches off of the water and blues at about 80-90% and whites at about 50-60%. In run the two middle fixtures a little cooler because of the overlap.

Both your aquaristic and your photographic skills are in top form here!

What your 220 is now, I hope that mine may someday become . . .

Thanks, I appreciate it. When you look at something every day, You only focus on the flaws and forget about the things that are going well. Comments like yours remind me that I'm doing something right. [emoji3]

Still using Biopellets? what brand, AIO Biopellets? If so how do you treat the brown stuff they throw to the sump? Do you dose bacteria too? What brand?

Yes, I've been using biopellets for a few years. I don't have a lot of fish, but the ones I'd do have are large and dirty. I just use BRS brand pellets, not all-in-one. I run GFO separately but only change it out about every three months or so.

I have recently been struggling to keep my nitrates down. They've been > 10 recently. I think it has to do with me traveling and my auto feeder feeding too much, completely replacing my biopellets about a month ago, and a few skimmer cup overflows. Oddly, my PO4 is 0 and I haven't change my GFO for a LONG time. I've not even been GFO at all for a few weeks.
