Setting up a new ATO question

Hello all, and happy Saturday! So I have never used an ATO before. I bought a Tunze osmolator 3. My reservoir is a 10 gallon tank. So my question is with 10 gallons of water, and my tank evaporation is about 3/4 gallon per day, should I put a small power head in the reservoir to keep things moving? Or will it be fine. Also a note on this, I do have a lid on the reservoir

I am looking forward to it! I am also setting up an auto doser for all and calcium.

we all just keep looking for things to get lazier. eventually you'll have to set a reminder to check the reservoir. but yes, 10 days is a great thing. I have the tune 2 and still great after 10 months. but yes, I need to remember to look in there.

No on the powerhead. I personnaly like to have a lid, i also use a 10g tank and just cut one out of acrylic, with a hinge. Keeps random stuff from falling it in...kids n whatnot.

Yea I agree. I will always check it. Honestly then only reason I am setting them up now is because I am going out of town for a few days soon.
