Shipping delayed by 2 days

I need someone to contact me. I have been emailing in, but I would really like to talk to someone on the phone. I had a package out for delivery this morning, and now, the package is saying it won't be delivered for two more days. What do i do? What can be done?

Is it livestock? If not, I believe for a fee, you can pay and have the packaged expedited.
If Livestock, call shipper and demand to speak with a supervisor at holding facility
 
The shipper is reefcleaners, and I don't see a phone number. They shipped it USPS, and I received my mail today but no packages. Then I got a notification that the tracking information had changed and it won't be delivered for 2 more days. It had said out for delivery all day prior to that.

Call your local post office, sometimes it may come on a different truck.

Contact YOUR LOCAL post office or even go there in case they happen to have package at their facility.

It was quite the ordeal. Thanks for the help. Apparently the delivery driver didn't attempt to deliver it and instead took it back to the post office saying that he is working under a "lifting restriction". Of course the box was only a couple pounds, so I don't know how that would apply.

Anyway, it took the post office several attempts to find it, but luckily they did.

All inverts looked great, and most of them were moving around almost instantly. Thanks for all your help.

I will definitely be buying more in the future.
 
Possibly in the future request to have your phone number on the box. That way they can call you up. You can meet them in the drive for the package or have them hold it to be picked up.
 
That guy was probably looking at the box thinking "it must weigh 20 pounds, this excuse will work" and then it weighs 3. Kind of funny.
Just received my package and I have some questions about it. Tried the phone number listed and it wouldn’t go thru. Anybody have a working number for these guys?

They should change their shipping policies even if they have to charge more. I ordered a CUC from them about 2 weeks ago. Package was shipped on Tuesday and didn’t arrive until Saturday over 1/2 were DOA. I did contact John and he did refund part of my money.
 
Did the whole order die? I can refund it. We can't send free orders for less than the cost of shipping and free handling and packaging at this time.
Some of the small snails and 1 hermit made it. How much would it be to ship the items in my cart that i was going to order yesterday but your site would not allow because it didn’t meet requirements.
 
OK I will refund the rest of the order now. In the future I would only use overnight to your location since you had such heavy losses, I will mark the account now. I do not have access to your cart, but UPS is $44.50 and there is a $50 order minimum requirement so it would come to $95.

They could start forcing myself overnight shipping and passing cost to customers....thus losing tons of business. Or they can realize this is a temporary situation with shipping companies and try to weather it and support their customers the best way they can.
