I separated my bio filter and my mechanical filter.

60G eurofil sump, 20G clear for life refugium.. the DT is 100G.... I kept it simple and easy to manage for whatever maintenance I need to do. no sand, algae, rocks or light leaks in my sump!! Ain't nobody got time for that.

dang that is slick. Like how you painted the panel against the sump so light won’t get through!
 
Is it possible to make a 75-110g hob into just giant refugium for pods with a algae scrubber and then some floss and carbon in a bag
