Silicone for sump

Is there a certain kind of silicone I need to use for my sump baffles so it's reef safe?

Definitely don’t use anything that says mold resistant or mold inhibitors. There used to be a type of GE branded silicone that you could get at Lowe’s that was safe to use, but I don’t believe they carry it anymore.

Your safest option is to buy a tube of silicone made specifically for aquariums.
