Got the tank up and running in may, CUC in begining of june, and my first fish in the begining july. Its a 30 gallon with fluval marine sea LED lights a HOB filter just running carbon and polyfill. I haven't gotten brave enough to attempt plumbing or a sump. This is my first tank and now that i have a little more knowledge im hoping to upgrade to a 75 with a sump and DIY plumbing in the next 2 months or so. For stocking i have about 5 hermits, 3 emerald crabs, a scooter blenny, bicolor blenny, 2 ocellaris clowns, and 1 flame angel. I have tried some corals and it has been hit or miss. I have 3 that are doing really well, 3 that are loosing some color and i have lost 2, for now i am just letting everything simmer while performing 5 gallon biweekly water changes and testing every other week for basic parameters (salinity is checked much more frequently) (also the scopus tang went back, it was an impulse buy that was a lesson learned, he was obviously not a good candidate for my tank)
