Hi all,

I have perused these forums and asked for advice for a little while but I haven't really introduced myself. I started this tank in November, 2018, and I'm hooked. I have adjusted things as I have gone along, run into some minor problems and an ugly case of bristleworms, which I got from a rock with shrooms a friend gave me. I have come to terms with the worms and think they have settled into whatever they are going to be (population has not exploded and maybe even subsided). And they do seem to be doing a good job keeping detritus down.

I started with a few chromis and a couple damsels. They pestered each other to death until there was only two crazy butt damsels left, and they had to go back to the store before I put any more fish in. I also lost my favorite fish, a diamond goby who had so much personality. "Bubba" committed suicide and jumped out of the tank, likely at some point while I was changing water and had my back turned (I have a cover but take it off for feeding/maintenance). My other biggest problem has been trying to get a bubble tip anemone to grow before my two amorous Clarkii Clowns love it to death.

Our diamond goby is my favorite -- they are jumpers. It is worth picking up another one. People who visit your house love watching the diamond goby. I am sorry, about his kamikaze actions, but I hope you get another one. Welcome to R2R!
