The K7 V2 and the Smat Farm lights are both 95W lights.... the Smat Farm lights have a better lens though, so I would opt for the Smat Farm light over a V2.
The V3's are 140W, have warm white drivers that the V2 doesn't, and also has slightly different spectrum due to different drivers between V2 and V3.
V2 had 410nm and 420nm drivers.
V3 has 405, 415, and 430nm drivers.
Smat Farm has 410, 420, 430, 450, and 457nm drivers, and warm white.
So based on your info, overall SF would be a better purchase unless you wanted a higher wattage?

Got back into the Hobby a few months ago...starting basic with 40gal SPS Dominant reef! I was running 2 AI Primes, liked the control but was concerned about spread and par. Was about to pull the trigger on a light that was 4x more expensive...thought I'd give these a try for $125. So far, I'm very pleased. Setup was simple...very much like a Maxspect Razor. The unit itself is very well built...the mounting arm is ok, not great. Shimmer is better than AI Prime...not quite Kessil. Sunrise is 8am to 9:30...Sunset 5pm to 6. A is 40% E is 25% F is 20% B,C,D are 100% Moonlight is C at 1%.
I'll report back on progress with regards to coral growth and color.

Question. I've been running this over a newly established coral qt tank. It's only 10g. Have the light mounted as high as the arm allows. Keeping some zoas and LPS. Everything looks 'ok'... running only the BCD channels at 45%. Do u think I should up the %?

With a mixed, probably not...those settings should be fine IMO.

Just observe the animals, they'll let you know if it's not working. Am I the only one who likes running the first channel more? I think I'm on 60%? Of course, I like the whiter/daylight spectrum more anyway.

I'm going to be putting (2) of the Smat Farm lights over a 36" x 18" footprint (L x W) tank....

What is the best way to position the lights over the tank? Each light can be mounted length wise, parallel with the length of the tank, or I could turn them 90 degrees and run them perpendicular to the tank...

Considering my tank is 18" wide (deep?) and 36" long, what would be the best way to mount (2) of these lights?

The 300w Viparspectra will be coming down.

I suppose " normally" you do it the right way.
The left way for 3 lights or wider tanks..

I am running mine with more white, but I am in the setup, not production phase. although they appear in pictures as much more blue than when my eyeballs look at them.

I have minele since September and the settings I am using on a 20 Nano AIO is 10, 90, 90, 75, 10, 2 in a mix setup. Moonlight is on 1 on Channel B. Sunrise 11a-12pm Sunset 6:45pm-8pm. Moon light until 10pm...then the Apex turns that off until 10am the next day.

Have you had good growth with these settings? I have a 30g long with two of these lights and I’m not getting much growth and my gsp has turned brown..

What are your settings? I have a single fixture over a 35g tall nano growing sps, gorgonians, euphyllias and jawbreakers at the very bottom which is 30" from the light.

I wouldn't doubt it.
I have (2) over a 45G and I'm running 10/70/70/70/10/15 and my SPS are doing fine with those settings. my euphyllia are lower and also doing fine. With those settings I'm getting around 600-700 par at the water surface, about 8" under my lights.
