Hey there!

Was wondering if anyone can give me an ID on this little guy that appeared yesterday on the glass.

The pics aren’t the best, glass needs cleaning and it’s very small (smaller than a pea).

I have a couple cerith snails and some nassarius snails in the tank and I can’t tell if it’s a nassarius baby or something else.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Aside from the fact they can get into pumps and potentially clog them( which has never happened to me) i think theyre literally the best snails. They seem to eat every type of algae, can get into all of the small nooks and crannies other snails cant, and they breed super quickly. I probably have several thousand in a 75g. They make up the bulk of my clean up crew, and they keep my rocks spotless.

Yes on the breeding quickly, I had 3 come in on a frag several months ago, and now I easily have hundreds. But they are awesome little cleaners. I gave somewhere around 70 away just a few weeks ago. Mainly the large ones.
