I have never seen a snail with what appears to be tenticles on its shell. It has a foot like a Nasarious but I don't know what it is.

I don't know the actual species......I've never seen one totally white.....but believe that is one of the varieties of cowry snail.

HERE's an article by Shimek that includes Cowries.

It does have a shell like a cowry snail but the tenticles on the shell are weird. It's almost like little anemones or star polyps all over its shell. So it's probably reef safe?
