Snail spawning events ever caused you problems?

i walked by the tank this am before the lights were on and noticed my water was a bit milky. I have not made any changes and have never seen this before so I started to freak out. I am looking all around for something dead or failed equipment when I notice around 8 of my trochus snails are up at the water line squirting (ejaculating?) into the water column. I watched for a bit and almost all of them were doing this at once so that's what made my water milky.

I do not run carbon but I do skim and it looks like it's clearing up some now that the lights are on.

Has anyone had anything go wrong from this? You think my tank is about to crash? Corals all have normal PE and fish seem normal.

Consider it free food for your corals. I've never had any problems form this, I've actually ended up with more snails from it. My mini brittle stars do it also.
