Sponge Type & Growth

I had this sponge show up a cple months back about the size of a nickle, now it is larger then 2 silver dollars side to side. I've already had to move a coral that I was worried about it growing over & am wondering if I should move the rock to my sump or just remove the sponge itself. I've had other sponge before but they never got this big this fast.

I'm pretty sure seen those before.... I've never had any real issue with sponges regardless....I'm sure outliers exist tho
