I’ve got some purple SPS, sorry no idea what they’re called. They were doing awesome for months until recently. There’s a big one pictured below where some pieces have broken off so I put these pieces on other rocks on the tank. The frags did great as well until last week. All of a sudden some of the frags started turning white. The big piece is still doing good for now.

Checked KH and calcium
KH - 7.9
calcium - 440
Salt 1.025
Temp - 80 - a little high but it’s been high all summer.
PH - 8.13

Anyone have any ideas?

Other monti’s are doing fine. Just these frags and two small frags of spongodes that had nudibranches so they were dipped and replaced.

Are you sure you don’t still have those nudibranchs?

That can be from a few things:

First, point-source LED light burn.
High N and/or P
Huge parameter swings

In nearly all these cases, the corals can look good for a while and then succumb after they have just "had enough." The beginning was really like a false positive.
