Stand build help for Red sea S500

Hello all , new here. I recently picked up a Red sea s500. Just tank only for 100$. Was.holdomg water when I went to LFS to pick it up. I am having a hard time finding a stand for it or how I should build a stand for this huge tank. Any advice would be helpful.

That is funny. I have it sitting in garage on foam and pallets now soaking in vinegar and water over night. Going go to Lowe's tomorrow to buy lumber to build a stand.

You wouldn't happen to have the stand and willing to sell it would you. Before I go buy lumber and make one. Lol

Congratulations on the new tank. Are you in a big rush to get it going? Are you set on a wood stand? If not I would look at all options for building a stand. If I were to do it again, I would probably do a T slot aluminum stand. Just something to think about.

I'll look at that thread. No rush to build , this will be a slow project. I already have a 55 with several fish stocked for almost an year now and it was time with permission from the wife to go bigger.

It was mine, it wound up at a LFS, which I assume he got it from, the LFS only picked it up a few days ago. I kept the stand as it’s a perfect stand for a lowboy.

Relocated everything to a stock tank. I have a new 96x36 peninsula being built by GC. Should be here in 2 weeks.

Yes picked it up from the Local Shop and by wild chance the previous owner is on here also.
