I’m getting an upgrade from a 90 gallon to a 150 ready. I have most of the equipment but want a new sump for more water volume. I currently have a 30” acrylic sump and for the new build am considering a 40 gallon breeder or a 36” acrylic. Looking for recommendations of the material to get the sump in, acrylic vs glass. How sturdy are glass sumps and how prone to breakage are they? I do know that if I go with a 40 breeder I will be getting 1/4” glass baffles cut by a local glass shop.
