I bought a frag from a LFS and didn't look closely at it when in their frag tank. I discovered some dead/bleached white areas when I got home. I think I've read somewhere a member using super glue to keep any further STN from occurring.

Does this work and how and where do you apply it? Do you put superglue on any live parts of the coral? I may just wait a day and see if it spreads. If it does, I may just frag it. It is mini colony.

Ive never personally heard of it stopping RTN/STN, but ive never looked into it. Im fairly sure that RTN is a signaled apoptotic event, so im not sure how well super glue will help that, and it tends to produce a bit of heat which may irritate the coral further...
