Flow Sensors

Just to follow up the GHL flow sensor unions are available for seperate purchase on GHL USA's website. These will allow connection to US pipe. They look like this:

Also the Leak sensors only need 1 module per Chain. Meaning that the Actual Leak detector sensors can be Daisy chained to an unknown (because it doesn't say on GHL's website) length. The leak detector control Module has 2 ports to allow you two separate chains of sensors. Or at least this is the way I understand it.

I would open a ticket to them and ask if they could do a software update to increase the limit from 30,000 to 60,000 ml. If a GHL doser is used the container will go down as the doser doses.

Sooo all my gear arrived at my workplace this afternoon and I'm picking it up tomorrow. My swap is going to mirror @Ditto 's pretty similarly, and I have zero hesitation about it mostly due to this gigantic resource thread.

So again, thanks @Ditto for all this work you've put up to help the rest of us that have dared to make the switch, and for answering all those questions in PM's.

Think I'm going to note my gotchas as they come up, a few today that seemed rather obvious after I figured them out. Some of the GHL walk-through material ( @Vinny@GHLUSA ) needs to be updated, it appears a lot has changed with some GCC and especially the web functions from when some of them were made in 2017.

So I am coming up on a year of having my Profilux. How often are you all changing out your probes? I have been having to recalibrate connectivity every two weeks or else it fluctuates too much.

Is anyone having this problem? Also, is there an inexpensive option to probes. Looks like if i replace all of them, it will cost close to $400.

I am seeing a lot of cheaper PH probes that claim they will work with any unit that has the same connector, which they do have. Anyone used a different probe before?

After two years I had to replace a conductivity probe and a ORP probe. The PH probe has been rock solid and will probably replace it since I will be replacing the other ones at the same time.

I been cleaning them every 6 months as part of my maintenance schedule.

@Ditto @Vinny@GHLUSA
How do you set up the Proppeller breeze controller and fans?
I have the controller plugged into the 1-10v port but for the life of me can’t figure out how to get the fans to start at my high temp.

@AZMSGT - hope this helps

For the 1-10V port you have your Breeze set it to the Temperature Port you want to impact the Breeze as shown here:

And on the Temperature Probe set the 1-10V Max at Deviation of X degrees.
In my setup it is 2 degrees this means the fans will be at full power when the temp of my tank is 2 degrees approx at 78.45 degrees.

It does not mean they are not kicking on before then because you can already see I was applying over two volts and my tank was at 76.8 degrees.
