T5 Mounting Idea

I have a 3ft by 2ft T5 fixture (Aquatic Life brand) and was wondering if it would be possible to mount it above my tank with Schedule 80 PVC pipe. I would use the wire hangers it came with and eye bolts to attach it to the PVC. Would this work and not fail?

I can’t say with certainty without seeing what you are describing but depending on the weight of the fixture and how you plan on using the pvc it can probably be made to work?
