Where do you get them from?
What, The whiteworms? I raise them. You buy a culture on Amazon for about $15.00, keep them below about 70 degrees. (lower is better) Feed them bread and you get thousands of them for free. 😎

Today I had to go 20 miles near my favorite LFS so I picked up a long spine urchin, blue stripe pipefish, 3 hermit crabs and about 6" X 6" piece of gsp. (Green Star Polyps) to cover some pieces of DIY rock to cover some areas where the cement came off.

Long Nose butterflies have tiny mouths just like Copperbands so they need tiny food. But they eat a lot. I also feed chopped clams and a few other "natural" foods and that is "one" reason, maybe the main reason I don't have to quarantine.

That small long nose butterfly ate almost 50 whiteworms in that one feeding.

That Hippo tang is the nicest one I have ever seen. Not a mark on him and he never had nori or any other greens. He doesn't know he is a vegan. 😎

On my morning walk this morning I found two things. One was the other side of that boulder that I found last week. Someone must have took it away, then carried it back. 🧐

The other thing was this Huge hermit crab. I have been diving and walking the shore here all my life and I never seen one nearly this big.

If I had something to put it in, I would have taken him home for a while to study. Then I would have let him go.

After 10 years I decided to change the cabin air filter on my Jeep Renegade. I think it could have gone a few more years. 😬

Once a year maintenance sir... makes for a better working climate control for when you transport hermit crabs...

In a couple of weeks my reef will will have reached 40 years old.
Unfortunately I don't remember when I was 40 but I remember when I set it up. I was a skinny 22 year old just back from Viet Nam.
It is still running very well, still using the same reverse UG filter, same dolomite substrait but none of the fish are original. The oldest one, a fireclown is just over 16, all of the older fish died in an accident that was due to my carelessness.
The tank is mostly LPS, gorgonians, giant mushrooms and a few leathers.
There are only three SPS corals, two of which have been with me for a few years and are growing nicely.
I am not sure is any of the original NSW from the Long Island Sound is still in there or any of the original amphipods but maybe much later generations.
I still can't take a decent picture and the tank is not as blue as these pictures but it is what it is.

Paul B, so so nice to hear you’re doing well and of course “best reefing
Sense”. You’re the best sage.
Debra 🥰

Good morning Debra. Always nice to hear from you. I'm still here and doing well so far. No issues with "my" health. 😎

I hope you are doing well.

There are so many reasons I am proud I didn't go to college. This is just one of them. These are college students.

On My morning walk, I walked farther on the beach than I have ever gone. I discovered strange new words and bravely went where no Man has gone before. Oh Wait....That was from Star Trek. Shatner, don't sue me.

As I walked, I came across something that will vastly change history. After I wrirte this, I will call National Geographic so they can change history.

I discovered The Lost Continent of Atlantis. Complete with pyramids.

Feast your eyes on this.

I will be so famous. 😎

😂 boldly walked where no fish has swam before!

What is it actually??
I have no idea. I never walked that far, that direction on that beach. It is very weird though. 😬

I think it must have been upright at one time but those interlocking cement pieces looks like something alien. It must have been about a hundred years ago because there are houses up on the 70' dune right behind it.

I have no idea where I would find out about it, but I did find out that over the bluffs, at the turn of the last century in the early 1900s there was a mansion there and the wealthiest guy on Long Island lived there. He died before they finished building this mansion and it was donated to the town.

But it was such a big house that the town couldn't take care of it so they demolished it and now there are a few small homes on that site but on the road are the remains of huge stone walls.

Yesterday was a horrible day. I had to rush my wife (again) to a pain mgt Dr. for that pain she gets in her face (trigeminal neuralgia)

The Doc gave her a couple of shots in her check, into the bone and we have to go for an MRI.

I hope those shots numb it at least for a few days until the next step, whatever that is.

I broke my femur in 3 places and hip! Just had to give my baby wrasses, firefish and Chromis one more feeding of mysis and blacked out! Doing ok with rod holding together lol. Hardest part is getting rod pushed into hip to walk haha. I’ve posted 2x’s w/ no response, I need info, can you help me? I was gone 6 wks, hospital and rehab and upon return had close inspection of my “babies”. I found my 15-16 yr old Sailfin showing me her mark on her side-not the usual scrapes and marks from fighting w/my Yellow Tang. Here it is, have you seen this, my beloved mentor?

Debra. OMG what the heck did you do? Are you trying to surpass my 36 surgeries? Don't do it.

That must be very painful. I hope you get over this very fast.

As for your beautiful tang. I wouldn't do anything. I think She's fine and even if that was something else, it is internal and I am not a fish pathologist. But I know that messing with the innards of a fish doesn't usually work out well. 😎

It's you who I am more concerned about.
