A friend gave me a juvenile bandit. Had it about a month or two. Getting fat.

"Gave you a Bandit" I've been looking for one for years. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of it.

They are doing great except for the larger one continues to beat the snot out of the smaller one. I met Nuri Fisher, the co-founder of Poma Labs at the NY reef Palooza. He suggested adding a bigger fish to the mix and that it might stop the aggression. So I added a Regal and a juvi. Emperor to the tank. We will see how it goes for a couple of days.

Bought a pair of juvi Goldflakes off of liveaquaria last week and they were tiny. One died the night it arrived. The other one is eating well in the acclimation box right now. But I am just still really surprised about how small they are....

I am able to see its internal organs...

Sorry to hear you lost one. Is LA sending you another? Is the Goldflake eating anything yet? .

LA refunded me. The one that is alive is eating pretty well and being very active. But he is so small that if I release him, the other bigger angles will for sure Kim him in a day. I am in the process of setting up a 40G quarantine tank so he can stay there until he gets at least two inches. It’s going to take some time but it will be worth it.

Keep us up to date with it's progress. My 1.5 inch angels love PE mysis that I shave into smaller pieces while frozen. The goldflake is one of my dream fish and I'm doing all I can to not order one of those babies.

Mine is eating Hikari mysis and brine shrimp and he’s eating quite well. It’s just he is so small that he really can’t eat much...

My Flame Angel Female. She was "put in her place" by the Regal angels initially, thus the bite mark on her fin. Just 1/2 day and all are fine. They totally ignore each other now. Just worry about their own business.

My very favorite of the angels:

Right now they both appear to be Flag-fin angels but considering how the smaller one looked when you got it, I can see how some one would call it a hybrid.

In the second picture where they are in two separate QT tanks, was that when you first got them? The big one sure looks like a flag-fin in that picture and the smaller one looks like a Gold Flake. Now they both look like flag-fins to me, but I'm no expert.
