Where are you in relation to the storm?

We are only slightly east of the projected path of the storm, land fall will most likely be less than 75 miles away in a straight line...projecting 10-15 inches of rain for my area over the next 3 days, plus tornadoes. severe thunderstorms and flash flooding. Was just informed by boss that tomorrow is normal work day, but that is likely to change as day progresses.

My boss tried to get me to come in the day after hurricane andrew. Um, yea, nope..not going to happen.

I seriously “dislike intensely” hurricanes. Really don’t want to play with them anymore;Woot

“Dislike intensely” is what what we tried to teach our daughter to say instead of “I hate”. She heard someone say it at a playgroup and she was off and running :rolleyes:

It’s a good thing I didn’t sign on Wednesday. It was a REALLY bad day..my self control was a little on the weak side. Did I ever tell you that my second grade teacher would pin notes to my shirt, explaining to my mom how inappropriate it was that I questioned EVERYTHING. What can I say..someone needed to do it :p

Thoughts please people as the doctors need bp numbers when I go in, just monitored on my machine as 125 / 87 at 99 bpm?

My bp is usually 121/80 with 95bpm. I used to run regularly. I drink a crap ton of caffeine and I smoke.

Well, looks like that squirrel made a decision. Wasn’t a good decision, but at least he made one. Maybe this is why squirrels are so indecisive...bad judgement. Our neighborhood is full of indecisive squirrels :p

Grab some biscuits and gravy. Squirrel should be cooked ok. If not throw in a pan with some butter and finish him off. Nothing like some squirrel and biscuits for a good breakfast.
