Hello!

I am new to the forum and actually stumbled on it after looking for a place to sell my setup.

I have a 32-gallon BioCube. I have been in the hobby since the start of 2018. I love the world of reefing but unfortunately, as my children get older I struggle to find time for the hobby.

I am happy to join the community, I am sure you will see more of my setups in the classifieds.

Cheers,
Brad

Welcome to Reef2Reef, a place where people are free to join and leave the hobby as they see fit. You'll find many a story of passions reunited as life allows them to have tanks again. Sad to hear you have to get rid of the setup, but looking forward to your return build.

Welcome. And goodbye!

Welcome to R2R! Lots of people, including me, leave the hobby. Many of us return later. I would suggest that even if you leave, if you have any pieces of gear you really like, hold onto them at least for a while. I've quit and come back at least four times over the years. Restarting from scratch is expensive.

If U do take a break u will b back. Take care of the important things. Hobby will always be here. Time with and for the family is paramount. As they get older Mayb introduce them to this wonderful world of reef keeping. Welcome.

Welcome to R2R!! :) :)

I have take a couple breaks over the years, with life coming a me.

You know what they say…if you love something let it go, if it comes back to you it’s yours forever! There is a reefing analogy in there somewhere. Just don’t sell your expensive stuff that stores well. The way this hobby is going stuff is going to cost triple what it is now in 5 years. Rinse and air dry everything so it’s ready to go when you are. I quit for 6 years and regret it. I had corals I would love to have again and either can’t afford a replacement ( x mas tree rock) or stuff I’ll not see again.
