This can't be good for the reefs

this makes me so sick... disgusting world and it seems like people that care are powerless.. this is why i decided to change my career path of possibly something in the medical field to ecology/biology ... still researching fields though.... but passian triumphs money for me personally and hopefully others feel the same

I think it can cause currents to pick up soot, and other material, deposit it on reefs, and potentially harm them. if they are mining copper ore, wont this free copper up and cuase death of many invertebrates.??
 
well, now that they've just about completely stripped everything from above ground and caused many a biodiversity to disappear or go on the endangered list, they've got to find another location to destroy everything they can to earn the big payday
