Good luck with brs. They had to send me 3 shipments to get it right and I still wasn't 100% satisfied. They didn't charge me for the additional shipments but I had to send them pics to show that they didn't send multibranch Tonga. It was really just a pain. When they did finally send me a multi branch it wasn't a very pretty piece. You would think someone from management would go to the warehouse and pick it for me after all that. They were extremely nice during the whole process but it was annoying and I wish I had purchased my rock somewhere else.

That's what I'm afraid of. Sorry about your experience Griff, hopefully you're happier now.

what I came up with after my less than amazing selection from brs. I ordered 60 pounds and about half of it wasn't even really tonga, just a giant flat base piece that all the tonga originally grew out of. Really unhappy with what they sent but the shipping to alaska is completely insane so I just tried to work with it

Oh my! That's gorgeous man! Where did you get the rock? Very nice job sir! Congrats

Thanks.

I acquired one big piece of tonga around 75lbs, here is a pic.

Then I pieces some more longer tonga to branch out. I was lucky to get some tonga rocks local. Haven't seen those come in a while. You still can get them online but very expensive...almost $5lbs.

My fish get big so I had to upgrade to 120gal and due to corals growth I had to add more rocks so I kinda lose my tonga beauty look but they are all still there :)

Here is my 120:

I have couple more tanks in my basement that are connected to this so not housing much nice corals in this tank. More nicer corals in my man cave tanks lol

Dude, you got a build thread of your tanks, they're really nice and I'm sure I can learn a thing or two? Feel free to post links if you got em

This is my older pico:

I just had a nitrite attack from an unknown source, and everything spiraled out of control. I'm rearranging stuff and trying to grow out a lot of frags, hence the desolate rock...

Anyway, yeah. I couldn't find branch rock I like in stores near me, so I just got a hunk of dry. Starting to turn purple, so that's a plus.

Just a quick aquascape. Really love branching live rock. Lots of caves and little pathways. A combo of branching and other rocks looks awesome as well.

Tangs were just being held in here temporarily a year ago.

I have two guys. One gets a lot of rock and only sells it dry, the other gets not as much but it looks better and more expensive than normal rock. If you want, I can ship you some!
