I feel like i have too many fish.. but i want to add more. I have a 120g sps dominated reef with not much rock.. 48x24x24

Current FishList

2 False Percs 1"- 2"
4 Chromis 1.5"
2 Blue Streak Cardinals
1 Yellow Tank 2.5"
1 Purple Tang 3"
1 Six Line Wrasse 1"
1 Sleeper goby 1"

I want to add these fish, ideally all of them but i think its too much..

1 SMALLLLLL blue hippo tang (to replace purple tang)
4 bluestreak cardinals
1 midas blenny
3 - 5 anthias, no clue which yet..
1 more wrasse
1 more chromis

too many fish??

thanks.

I wouldnt add much more,I have a 125 SPS tank,with alot of rock.I have

Female Tomato clownfish:5"
Male Tomato clownfish:3"
Blue Face Damsel: 2"
Power Blue Tang: 6"

Im only going to add 3-4 more fish if that.I know I will be adding a Goldflake angle and a Black tang, but after that not to sure.

I think stocking really depends on the tank itsfelf. Some systems are able to keep the build up of ammonia and nitrate, nitrites, very low, some arent able to,just the owner and what is really being done to the tank in the end.And with SPS,not many fish are wanted as we try to keep out tanks ULNS's.

ulns poo-ulns, haha.

Thanks for the input!
I keep my tanks very well kept, heavily skimmed and change 15g per week. I really want a lot of movement in the upper/middle water column and with the fish i have now there isn't many bright colors, i'd like to add more smaller, colorful, active fish.

in my 125 SPS tank I have
4" yellow tang
5" naso tang
4" leopard wrasse
3" green coriss wrasse
4" inch fairy wrasse
2" chromi
3" yellow coriss wrasse
2" scooter blenny
2x 3" yellow watchman gobies
4" blue jaw trigger

160 gallons total volume 150 lbs rock SWC250 skimmer

I think as long as there is a HEAVY skimmer in place, and that you dont feed a TON,and do wather changes, you can add a few of the smaller ones.I wouldnt go crazy though,SPS tanks in order to get best color need to be UNLS...LOL,or have a source of carbon dosing.

oh and i run a sack of carbon, and have hecka macro in my sump..

decisions.. decisions...

if YOU could add fish to my tank that are smaller, colorful, NON-NIPPING fish, what would they be? and how many?? or which from the list would you pick? ..no angels..

If it were me,I would get a nice group of anthias.I think they are the best and the coolest fish for a SPS tank!

I would get 3,they do good in odd numbers.

Go with what you like, bright and active for me!
