Hey guys I was wondering what could be bothering this new torch I bought about a week ago? I have an other torch in the tank that’s been in here for about 3 months and is doing great still.

Torches are very sensitive to bacterial infections, If you notice any brown jelly get it out of the tank ASAP so you don't risk losing your other torches. If your other torches are doing well I doubt its params, but they could be helpful if you have them.

I don’t think so. I just have it next to other torches, maybe flow could have been the problem.
Hmm I would see if adjusting the flow helps and maybe give it a day or two but, if flesh starts falling off/ brown jelly I would remove it/ quarantine if possible. Best of luck, and I hope he recovers.

I’m not sure what your dipping it in but I would dip it in Lugol’s iodine. Great for infection and the torches in my tank seem to perk up after. Just make sure you follow the instructions. Good luck!

Torches can sometimes sting each other if they're different types. You might check for flatworms or other pests that could be bothering it or, as others have stated, flow may be too much or too little. Other possible causes are always bacterial infections. Euphyllia are finicky.
