Just notice these last few days that this torch right side is not opening up as much as the left. The right side is actually on a separate branch. See photo. Its been in the tank since May 3rd and generally very happy. I stopped dosing RedSea AB+ about 30 days ago since I have been battling too much nutrients in the tank. Since I have some more LPS, I'll start the dosing again, 1-2 times/wk.

How's the flow? Are there any critters that may be bothering it? What are your parameters :) ?

My cristata usually looks like this when they either get too much flow or are irritated by any of the clean up crew (usually the cleaner shrimp walking all over them). Please update!

For me sometimes my hammer will do that and then open up normally after a few hours or sometimes take one or two days. I guess some days they’re just grumpy. I’d say test your parameters and from there maybe move it into a slightly lower flow area and/or give it a few more days to do its thing naturally.
