I have been eyeing this one up for a while, went through a rough time in a tank move so thats how i picked it up, very cheap.. It looks purple in pic, but is very blue, new growth is a very vibrant blue.. Just wondering if anyone can tell the species of acro it is, if not i will work on a better pic..Dont like to move just for a pic, so i had to zoom, kinda set it and forget it!

With my limited SPS ID ability I would say it looks like a Tort to me as well, hard to tell with the pic though.

I can't get a good pic to save my life.. It's still has some brown, but the blue is returning more every day! I watched this grow in buddys tank for 1.5 yrs, so i know it was solid blue.. I will update in week or two, hopefully it looks a lot better then!

Not a tort IMO, I'd check Divers den and see if they have a similar acro. It looks like many of the corals I've seen listed there, some of which were called tenuis but almost looked like they had a milli structure to'em.
