Traps and Actually catching stuffs....

OK could we share traps to catch things?

I got a mystery crab Im not sure is a threat but not sure what he is either.....and so far. I havnt been able to lure him out or anything out now that we are on it with the traps I have tried.

Suggestions?? What has Worked for you?

See if you can properly identify before capture. There are some crabs that are either very beneficial or harmless to your corals and fish.

I had lots of success with baiting pint glasses and propping them on the LR to catch gorilla grabs.

To catch a very large stone crab that lived where my LR met the bottom of the tank, it eventually required a partial tank tear-down. Not fun but necessary.

I've seen him since then but havnt gotten a better shot.

I tried a cut soda bottle trap with shrimp at the bottom, with the opening over the hole I last saw him crawl into. No luck :/
