Anticipating getting off in 3 hours... It's my monthly week off in my shift rotation, and it feels like I've been working for 3 months without a break(I really haven't).

I have noticed a bit of bleaching and tissue damage on my pavona, but oddly only the parts closest to the glass. The blue encrusting pavona furthest away from the glass has no damage and looks great. I just realized what is happening to them. The glass is most likely reflecting too much light onto them and the ones closest to the glass are getting the most reflection and therefore receiving too much light. We're going to glue them down today(after I go buy superglue) in some high flow low light places.

I also backed down the flow in the tank by half(might go back up slightly). I noticed one of my acans getting blasted by some pretty strong current and one polyp was actually being torn from the skeleton... yikes. I may have to move them to a lower flow area and do away with the strictly acan rock and use them as fillers between SPS colonies like I planned for the zoas. Zoa and acan fillers sounds nice.

Hurry up 0630!!!

Sounds like your glass is too clean[emoji6]. The little guy will reflect off the glass and can cause higher pea on occasion.

So are you covering up the sides with black or blue?

Can you get a pic of the pavona, both mine are in medium to high light.
Yea, the corals on the top of the frag rack look good. The pavona on the bottom look like crap except for the blue one on the right.

Pavona still looks like poop. Flow is backed down to minimum and I closed down on the return valve. Did a 10g water change yesterday and set up my dosing pump with the Red Sea 3 part... and realized I can't find the power cord. I've all but turned the house inside out looking for it.... bummer.

Alright, so we finally mounted the new corals. The pavona is in varying stages of death... blue being the best, followed by orange, purple then green... poor green pavona. We mounted it anyway. The German blue digi is doing well and has nice PE and an awesome steel blue color until you pop it off the frag plug and glue it down. It doesn't like that. It'll get over it.

Oh and everyone, say hi to the newest resident in the Deep Blue Sea. Sapphire, the sapphire damsel. She's adjusted well and is getting along with everyone. Not one argument between her and Bonnie.(Bonnie used to attack fish her size) She's claimed the empty cave under the forest fire digi as her home.

This sympodium is very happy... it's a flat mat when it's retracted, but extends way out like this durring the day.

The zoas are opening more and more, and I think growing more and more... I lost the frag of green zoas, but I had a few that had grown onto the disk that I left over in the nano... well I glued them to a piece of rubble and glued that to the rock in the Deep Blue.

As @najer stated, I need some crabs to pick the algae from between those polyps.

Oh, Sushi does not like it when Sapphire comes into her little hole...
