Life... Hate when it gets in our way!
Yep, I only think one is too far gone, unfortunately that is the ASL Baskin Robbins. I have some on there that may be sleepers. I have no idea the name but they are coloring up nicely since the first dip. One that is a dark purple, that one was 4 or 5 tips I glued together and looks to be encrusting the glue, and another olive base with blueberry tips. A lot of tri-color valida, not sure the original source... they are getting nice blue tips now too. Red planet has one tip that keeps growing, and the bonsai is colored up nicely, but stagnant as far as growth. I'm gonna cut the base off when it goes on the rocks and see if that will encourage it some. The green slimmer and the ASL Irish Gold have are a little pale, but still look ok.

Back home from San Jose. Huge burrito and a 32oz Mexican draft beer. Ugh....

Anyway, acros for @Scurvy.

Red Planet, fuzzy and growing. That tip on the right has put on a 1/16" to 1/8" or so. Starting to see a few more tips with growth.

Bonsai, it's a darker blue now but no growth. I'm gonna cut the bottom bit of healthy tissue off that dead base and see if that'll make it take off.

ASL Irish Gold, not as dark as when I got it, but still looks just fine. Frags do change color a bit when they change systems.

Purple unknown. This was several small tips I cut from am encrusted plug. The main portion was cut and reglued, and I kept the old plug to try and save a few small tips. Therea a little bit of algae trying to grow between all the tips, but I can see a tiny bit of encrusting going on.

Green blue unknown. Reminds me of a blueberry bush. Also saved from a tossed out encrusted plug. (One of my favorite ugly ducklings.)

20181206_200911.jpg

Unknown unknown... like, I have no idea what color this will be. I found it half dead behind the rocks in my friends tank. Completely brown with a few dead branches. I saved all I could of healthy tissue. The base is starting to turn purple.

20181206_201032.jpg

Strawberry shortcake or tierra del fuego... something like that. Green base pink tips. Polyps arent out as far, but still colored up nicely. Likely needs a dip in melafix.

20181206_201146.jpg

Tri color... I have 6 frags. Yea, I had to frag a colony that was infested... didnt expect them to male it. They were the color green you'd expect a corpse to be. I'll likely give away 5 of them, as all 6 are doing exceptionally well.

ASL Red Delicious... idk what's going on. Tips keep dying, PE sucks. At least it's still red. I need to clip those dead tips off. Hopefully after another dip it starts to turn around.

20181206_201128_001.jpg

ASL Baskin Robbins. Pretty sure its D-E-D dead. If not, it's too far for my skills to save. I'll leave it be in case a miracle happens, but I do not have high hopes.

20181206_201135.jpg

Suharsonoi, or as I like to call it... sushi acro. Needs some help. Something burnt the tips. I'm starting to wonder if I didnt have an alk spike between getting some of these acros.

20181206_202915.jpg

Green Slimmer... dead tips, again. Actually, I can see some bite marks on this one. Look close, they look like little white dots on the skin. It's easier when I look with my flashlight. Yellow light makes them more visible. I'll dip this one(along with everything else) and it should bounce back in a week or so.

Montis, because they're cool too...

Elkhorn! One of my favorites. It's still doing well, and getting more color too, I think.

20181206_203630.jpg

Red cap. Can't even tell where it broke anymore, and check out the growth. You can see the ridge from where I got it. (No filter photo, it glows like that normally)

20181206_203555.jpg

Purple cap. Isn't growing as fast as the red. Probably good since its right above it. Give the red time to spiral up thru the purple. The piece on the right has encrusted a bit and I see some white edges. The one on the left hasn't done much, but maybe its confused being vertical. (No filter photo, the effect orange filters have on purple is very close to what it does for blue light... aka, the coral just gets washed out.)

Jedi mind trick. Serious colors coming out and its growing, quickly. I think this will get placed on the back of my cave. Itll be hard to see but it'll take over and choke out acros if I mount it up high.

20181206_203648.jpg

Sunset monti. Not growing like I thought it would. Might need to be fragged up to get it to grow, which is what I planned on doing.

20181206_203654.jpg

Starburst(?) monti. Still going slow, I want it to plate but hasn't taken off yet. This one is about the color of my red cap, but the orange filter made it more pale that is actually is. Second picture is without filter.

Oh and our special surprise?

ATI Essentials 3 part dosing chemicals. I wont be using this right away. I'd like a more permanent solution to my dosing and ATO containers first. I also want the new eKoral doser, as it's a stand alone unit but also goes with the eKoral controller I'd eventually like to add as well.

20181206_204756.jpg

The 3 bottles in there are evidently super consentrated. They make up 3, 10 liter solutions. Yep, that's 2.6 gallons of part 1, 2 and 3. I need some wat to make up and store that stuff, but I'd like demand to go up a little more than 4ml a day before we use it. Last check with the Hanna was 8.2dKH, up 0.2 from when we started.

If you noticed, I have new reagents for my Hanna calcium checker as well as the alk, so we will check both of those tomorrow and see how things are going. If alk is going up but calcium is going down I'll have to dose more of each to get them in line... if I understand that correctly.

Very nice! I have not owned this one, but sometimes these high end, glowing Montipora prefer less light than say SPS sticks.

It's at the back, next to the overflow box about mid way up in the tank. If I had to guess, 250-300ish par. Sand bed is 150-200, top of the rocks is 350-400, I think... I need to check again. I'd eventually like to upgrade to 3 A360Xs so I can bump up the power over this tank. Jason Fox's website says medium light medium flow... whatever that means.
