Turtle's Fairy Tale

I have never tried a beer I like. I think I might need to try that. I'm a liquor girl. (Gosh my Mom would be proud)
Its definitely an ale, but with a hint of coffee flavor. Nice rainy fall day beer. Once it cools down some more I have a fresh 4 pack of Guinness draught in the fridge. The winter Sam Adam's had a coffee porter and a chocolate stout. I'm excited to try that sampler next. I do love my dark beer in the winter.

Two gallons of overflowing later... we have a not so bad overflowing skimmer. The cup will be full in the morning, but at least it doesnt look like a 6th grade science fair volcano.

Oh I measured the height of the skimmer. It is in 6" of water. Manufacturer recommended height is 9.5-11", but it just skims way to wet at that height. Most people recommend putting them on a stand.

You could add some of that skimmer sludge to your yuppie beers and it might help improve the taste :p

From your description of my beer as being "yuppie," I bet you drink some over produced watered down light beer... lol ;Hilarious ;Facepalm oh, wait don't tell me you drink PBR ;Vomit. Hahaha

Any word on the tank yet? I havent checked on the new pasture yet today.

I saw your post earlier, just haven't responded to it yet. May or may not tonight, but will by tomorrow. Been busy playing with the new 4 wheeler/buggy the past few days

Got some more glue and put some sticks on the rocks. Button scoly, acans and zoas too.

FTS, blue blue blue. I need a filter lens.

I had to move the duncan away from the frogspawn. It was losing the battle. I moved it on top of the other duncan, they will get along fine, and I put the bicolor frogspawn in its place. That regular frogspawn has really gotten big.

I want to see the smoking robe too Mr Hefner! Tanks looking great! Jealous
Hahaha, no house coat. I quit smoking cigarettes 3 years ago this past July. Told myself by my 30th birthday (August 4th) I was quitting. Ended up running put of my last pack a week early and didn't buy another. It's a guilty pleasure I enjoy a few nights a week at most.

Congrats, I haven’t been able to shake the habit. Have tried many a times and will get 3 or 4 months here and there but stress, anxiety or rage always pulls me back in.

i asked the dr. this last time about something to help me quit dipping so he subscribed me a small dose of wellbutrin to help suppress the cravings. Only 2 days in so far, minor differences but nothing major yet.

I bought 8 rolls earlier this week and determined it would be my last 8 rolls. So I'm shooting for by the end of this year.

I was starting to get really bad heartburn after every cigarette... so I had some help there but I quit cold turkey. I've had tobacco pipes for a while, longer than I've quit cigarettes, but I didn't touch them until I knew I was over cigarettes. Even now, the pipe isn't something I have to have.

I had a lung issue a couple of years back that required surgery. That got me off them for a good 6 months but the Dr. eventuallt slipped and told me my issue had no relation to my smoking and would have happened regardless. Worst thing he could have said to me as I was then able to rationalize starting again.

About the coffee beer...I did not find any yesterday. I was recommended to try something in a blue can too. Something with higher alcohol. They laughed and said for me it might be better to have no plans when I try it. Lol

That green slimmer is awesome! Guess who got a preferred customer coupon in the mail?...hmm.

It does stand out. The orange glasses turned it a bit yellower than it really is.

Preferred customer? I'm guessing you, but where?

Oh, the girlfriend scored us several free passes to Riverbanks Zoo. She used to work there a few years ago and evidently still has a few hook ups. They have a really nice aquarium with a huge tank.

I was at a local brewery, River Rat over in Columbia, a few years back and wanted to try a few of their beers. I got one that was classified as a barley wine and tipped the scales at 12% ABV. They looked at me and were like "you know this is a strong beer, blah blah blah..." they just didn't understand what kind of professional they were dealing with. Yuppie city folk I tell ya... lol.

Yeah. Making cookies apparently makes me preferred. :) LFS. They actually do call or text when they get a little guy.

It's good to have a good relationship with your LFS... good for their wallet not yours. It is good for your tank tho.
