Sweet, very healthy growth, I love watching things recovering, you must be doing something right! ;)

I just removed those old rocks from the sump and did a few water changes. I haven't even tested for Ca, Mg, NO3 or PO4 in two months. I tested alk the other day and it was 10.0dKH. Other than that, I'm just cleaning the glass and feeding the fish. I think removing the poison rocks, and the tank finally getting more mature and stable, and me being hands off while it recovers is helping. I will need to start testing more once I get a few more SPS in there. They'll start sucking up my elements now that they will actually grow.

I say hands off... I rearranged the scape twice in October. That's about as hands on as you can get. lol
Seems like the corals like it tho.

Robin you can come kill some rics for me. They are having a little warfare with my big leather. You think a razor blade and glue will do the trick? I've only killed GSP and Xenia before.

You want to kill ricordea? As in the delightfully colorful, bubbly little mushrooms? I'm confused.

As for the razorblade and glue. You'll most likely multiply your ric population by taking a razor to them. Super glue doesn't really stick to them as they have no skeleton, and the tissue slimes too much for the glue to stick. If you REALLY want them dead, try injecting them with lemon juice, or a heavy kalk solution. Be careful how much you put in the tank tho. It'll swing your KH and pH way high.

Moved my jackolantern lepto into the cave. My conch kept knocking the rock it was on sideways and the leopards kept kicking sand on it. I was wanting to put a coral up there but didnt know which one to get. Turns out I already had the perfect coral.

It's not happy with me right now. For some reason it doesn't like being pulled out of the tank.

Water change day. Cyano wasn't 100% gone but I took care of that with the syphon. Add that to the list of things I need. A larger syphon. Mine was ok for the old 35 cube, but this tank is taller and the stand is taller. It was a bit awkward reaching to the bottom of the tank, and making sure I was syphoning into a 5g bucket and not onto my floor. I changed out 2 almost full 5g buckets, which is close to 20% for me.

Everything is back running now. Carbon reactor is turned on and the skimmer is still going nuts. I've got the drain off until it calms down. It filled the cup in minutes.

Very nice.
Have you tried changing the height of the skimmer, is it on the base of the sump?
Its actually got a stand it sits on. I'll be home here in about an hour, I'll try and get you a picture. It's really fancy. I took a 4" PVC coupling, turned it on its side, and stuck the skimmer on it. Otherwise the thing just skims too wet for my liking. I've been using that same idea since the 35g.

Very nice. SPS like you now. I am actually excited for your ATI test. I have been itching to do a second test on mine, but going to wait until the first of the year (which will be six months in).

Because I won an auction of blue hornets from my LFS, and when I went to pick them up I saw pretty sticks.

Blue Hornets. I've wanted another frag of these since I had the mishap with the H2O2 in the last tank and melted all my zoas. I love how blue these are and the yellow goes perfect with it.

Red Delicious. I think this is an ASL in house coral, not entirely sure, but like 90%. Super chunky frag that's actually growing down the stem. I think I'm gonna glue it exactly how it is and let to grow down to the rocks. Didn't get any pictures of the mother, but it's red red. Like r-e-d red.

ASL Baskin Robbins. This thing is gorgeous. Mother colony in second two pics.

Not because you can... but because you have to ;Snaphappy;Snaphappy;Snaphappy
LOL

You know a month ago I had to clean out my phone because I had over five thousand pictures. Most of them were my reef. I'm back up to five hundred already.

Ok, I'm jealous. ;Drool

I'd love some blue hornets and a red acro. I have some red color on the bottom of my tank but not much on the top since my red dragon died.

That was well after lights off last night. Well, if you can still call 3am night. Im still stuck on night shift and, well, Red Dead Redemption 2 is that addicting I didn't realize what time it was. Ok, here is one red picture of the ASL Red Delicious. Yep, cheap red LED flashlight from Amazon. Check out that PE. Must be only night time because it's gone again now.
