I kinda like it too, and the RFAs and Rics seem to like it also. The depth of the blues is amazing.

We got some new rics the other week. They've been sitting on the rack in my 90 this whole time. I moved them over last night.
My small orange ric also came detached and was falling down a hole I think the pistol shrimp has made. I haven't seen it or the goby for weeks, but I have a few tunnel openings under the rock, so I assume it's the shrimp. Any way, we made a small shroom box out of an old rubbermade container. Hopefully it attaches to a piece of the rubble in the box. (I promise it's in there, just hard to see thru the plastic with the camera)

We did get the orange ric to attach, albeit only halfway. The other half appears to still be clinging to a piece of sand for life. I placed it near the bottom out of the stronger(relative) currents and in a position where it could attach the other half if it should so choose.
The rock on the right is the one it is attached to. It is sitting on the left one, so hopefully it will grab onto it as well.

First up... MANGROVES!
We got two red mangrove propagules. I placed them in the media basket until I find a better solution for them. I kinda want them growing up out of the tank, but I have the screen top to keep fish in. I may set up a place for them to root in the back, but then I still have the AWC to set up back there, and that requires putting an ATO pump in the back as well. Maybe, I'll just leave them in the media basket and they'll root and grow from there, but my filter floss is on the bottom of the basket for now which is hard to change out, they have no substrate and the holes might restrict growth one they start growing... decisions. What do y'all think?

Do they require substrate? If not I might just zip tie somehow into the return chamber. That said if they shoot off roots it may become impossible to clean wherever you put em given enough time.

Next up, sexy shrimp and porcelain crabs. We got 7 shrimp and 2 crabs. These guys are all peaceful and should live together with no problems.
